By maintaining your air tools, you are ensuring longer life expectancy, safety, and operational quality. Here are some simple steps you can take to prevent your air tools from burning out.

Lubricate the wick system through the angle gear head oil fitting with 2-3 plunges every 8 hours of use for maximum gear life.

BEFORE LUNCH:

  • Apply 2-3 drops of air lube into the air inlet.
  • Run the tool for approximately 10-15 seconds before going to lunch.

END OF SHIFT:

  • Repeat above by applying 2-3 drops of air lube into the air inlet.
  • Run tool for 10-15 seconds before leaving for the day.
  • This will leave a coating of oil on the vital motor parts.

IMPORTANT:

  • Use recommended angle gear oil only for wick system.
  • Do not contaminate wick with any other tool oil or grease products.

LOOK FOR PROPER OPERATION OF THE TOOL:

  • Listen for unusual sounds and excessive vibration.
  • Watch for slow RPMs, tool will not perform as well as a newer model.
  • An improper running tool will have a substantially reduced life.
