Hookit™ attachment system enables easy change-outs
Available in coarse grades from 36E to 60E, the 740I Hookit™ Abrasive Disc is built for durability during tough auto body repair jobs. The high performance abrasive disc is suitable for materials including fiberglass, filler, metal and plastic and features heavy E weight paper backing that resists tearing and edgewear even during aggressive sanding. Its aluminum oxide mineral cutting surface self-fractures during use, continually exposing fresh cutting edges to stay sharper longer. The grain is resin bonded for superior heat resistance, further extending the life of the grain and the disc.
High-Performance Features for Demanding Jobs
Use the 740I Hookit™ Abrasive Disc for applications including paint removal, rust removal, shaping of metal or body filler, deburring and more. The discs are suitable for hand or power sanding in wet or dry applications.
The Hookit™ hook-and-loop feature makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment clean and easy, and facilitates use and re-use of the disc for the full extent of its abrasive life. The brushed nylon loop backing on 740I Hookit™ Abrasive Discs attaches firmly to J-shaped hooks on the disc pad (sold separately). The Hookit™ system is designed for work spaces and applications where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris.
