3M™ Soft Interface Disc Pad provides a greater cushion and more conformability than a pad with medium density foam. Use this pad to reduce edge cutting when the pad is tipped on edge and maintain closer contact with the edge while maximizing dust extraction. The pad contains a series of uniquely designed holes which match those in 3M™ Clean Sand Back Up Pads, allowing sanding dust to be pulled through the holes and away from the sanding surface. This improves the work environment and prolongs disc life.
Easy Attachment
The Soft Interface Disc Pad has two sides. One side features loop material, which attaches to the back up pad used on the sanding tool. The opposite side contains hook material, which attaches to the Hookit™ sanding disc of choice.
Altogether, 3M™ Soft Interface Disc Pad is ideal for operators who seek an added level of conformability for their sanding projects. The responsive foam design, attachment system and Clean Sanding hole pattern combine to cushion the workpiece, minimize dust and — ultimately — get the job done.
