Emerald CX® gloves are knit with an engineered blend of Kevlar® and stainless steel, because two super-strong materials are definitely better than one! They reach an impressive ASTM Level-4. And, the comfort and dexterity of these gloves is surprising, considering the fact that you’re wearing a quarter mile of steel on your hands. Emerald CX® gloves stand up to 1500 grams of force in lab trials, compared with heavyweight leather gloves that cut at less than 150 grams of force. That translates to ten times the amount of cut protection. Put another way, you’d have to wear ten heavyweight leather gloves to match the cut resistance of our Emerald CX® gloves, which of course is neither possible nor comfortable!
